The Spare Room
Located in the legendary Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood
Boulevard this bar puts the cool in cocktails. My very dear friends Med and Marc have created a clubhouse
for hipsters and hotel guests alike.
While the cocktails may be fancy the vibe is low on pretention and high
on fun. In reality it’s not even a
bar, it’s a gaming parlor. That
means you can enjoy a game of chess, backgammon, or even Jenga, all of which were
handcrafted for the joint, while lounging back on comfy couches grooving to
killer tunes. Late night the place
gets crankin’ and even though there isn’t officially a dance floor somehow
that’s doesn’t stop the party from pop lockin’ to closing time. The piece de resistance…two gorgeous
vintage bowling lanes with your own personal bowling “conciege” who keeps the
score old school style, gives you some tips to improve your form, and gets you
fit in seriously the most swank hand made leather bowling shoes of all time Be
sure to call ahead for reservations if you wanna get your bowl on. That shiz is popular!!! . Basically my boys hit a homerun… you
can’t lose when you combine world-class mixology, gaming, and some sure fire
soul shakin.
